This is me. This is Saurabh Sanjay Joshi who had never is his mind ever thought that he would end up doing an internship at a core electronics company- Analog Devices Inc., Bangalore
And how did I end up here… Its an interesting story… I am of the suggestion that students at BITS should always have a CGPA of just above 9. I know it is a daunting task. But it has its own advantages. It makes you a member of the common BITSian. People don’t stare at you speaking things…you know like stuff…And the other advantage is what my story is about. The PS 2 is one of the best things ever to happen at BITS. Now BITS has its tie-ups with numerous companies- some good, some OK, and some are the best. We have a choice to choose our semester preference. The guys with CGPA greater than 8.5 are considered to be the guys who opt for 2nd semester. Here’s the play. There are some companies which are the best, but these companies ask for high CGPA students which out of reach of the common BITSian. I too had opted for 2nd semester. But the BITS authorities ran out of students for these best companies for the 1st semester. They came saying to us that if you interested for changing your semester preference, you will be given company of your choice. Now is our turn to act extra smart. Guys like me, with a CGPA of just above 9 can approach the authorities and them demand for these best companies…Because we know very well that there will be tough competition from guys with much higher CGPA for these best companies.
